I've decided to partition the hard drive on my new laptop and install Windows 7 Beta alongside the pre-installed Windows Vista, both 64-bit versions (though this applies to 32-bit versions too). I decided to leave my data where it was (the same partition as Vista) and to shrink this partition and create a new one for Windows 7.
"Pro Drupal Development, Second Edition" is fantastic. I loved the first edition and the second builds on its extreme utility. I strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in developing Drupal websites. Amazon's page for it: Pro Drupal Development, Second Edition (Beginning)
In cPanel 11's "Standard Cron Manager", I successfully set a cron job for my Drupal 6 installation with the following command:
php /home/USERNAME/public_html/cron.php
If you get the message
"Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behaviour when accessing security features."
I installed Amarok recently and was very pleased with it until it started freezing. I had previously used Rhythmbox, which comes with the default install of Ubuntu, but it decided to disappear along with the music it was playing a bit too frequently for my liking and it wasn't particularly aesthetically pleasing. The biggest problem with Amarok was that when I opened it, it didn't load.
