About Me

My name is J.D. Leonard. I'm a student, a web developer, a web host, a computer scientist, a technology enthusiast, an American, and a Brit.

I'm a Senior at Rice University in Houston, Texas seeking a BSCS (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science). I plan to graduate in May of 2009. Rice is amazing. The campus is beautiful, the people are great, and I'm looking forward to having had a great education. I'm in Jones College, the best of all the residential colleges, of course. I am the Director of Technology for the Student Association and the Beer Bike Technology Coordinator. I also founded and am President of the Rice Web Design and Development Club. At Jones, I'm the webmaster.

Before coming to Houston in September of 2005, I lived in London, England with my family since 1994. I attended The American School in London from 2nd through 12th grade. It is located in St. John's Wood, a neighborhood in Northwest London. I graduated as part of the ASL Class of 2005.

Prior to living in London, My first seven years of life were spent in Rye, NY, a suburb of NYC.

Camp Dudley YMCA in Westport, NY is the summer camp that I attended as a "Plebe" in 1999 and as a "Junior" in 2000. I have worked at Dudley every summer from 2003 through 2008. In 2008 I was the Division Head of the Plebes. Dudley is an incredible place full of incredible people and words can not describe its spirit. If you are or have ever attained the rank of Leader or Staff at Camp Dudley, please contact me for a special opportunity - you'll be glad you did!

I run a web hosting business, JDL Hosting. I'm selling bulk quantities of hosting to people I know personally only. Contact me for more information.
